Match made in heaven

Thinking of something new and daring for Valentine's Day tomorrow? How about a spot of "Valen-pairing" -- that is, testing chocolate to go with your wine to create a unique taste sensation.

We're always looking to pair different foods with different wines, so why not chocolate? Perfect for this occasion. When paired properly, there is no better way to romance your sweetheart!

"Some say it can't be done, but pairing the right wine with the right chocolate can create an amazing taste experience," says Matthew Lane, director of wine education for Penfolds Wines.

Their intense flavours mean dark chocolate (70% cocoa) and bittersweet chocolate (85% cocoa) should be paired with stronger red wines with concentrated fruit notes and a hint of their own chocolate notes.
