Knight: TFC rolls out midfield welcome mat

Another week, another rebuild.

Coming off a ludicrous 4-1 belting on the Beltway, Toronto FC sealed deals with two new midfielders, and welcomed top draft pick Julius James back from injury – just in time to face David Beckham in his swanky Hollywood home.

Amado Guevara, not exactly a fan favourite in Canada for being a member of That Honduras Team, is ready to bring spark and brilliance to the right side of the TFC midfield. The thought of Guevara, 2004 MLS MVP and scoring champion with New York, flanking former French international Lauren Robert on the left is making many fans … well, we're never going to forget that shameful Canada-Honduras World Cup qualifying draw in Edmonton, but we might be prepared to at least consider looking the other way.
