Cooler temperatures couldn’t stop Chelsea Goldsney from feeling the pain of her last 30 km of the Weekend to End Breast Cancer walk Sunday.
“I would love a foot massage, but there are too many blisters,” said Goldsney.
The 23 year old was with three friends as she arrived at the Agricom building at Northlands Park after making the two-day trek to and from Callingwood Park.
While they beat most other walkers to the finish line by not stopping for long rests, they paid the price in hurt feet.
“It was harder today just because everybody was a little sore,” said her friend, Rhonda Smith.
