Samsung Electronics Canada’s new SP series multimedia projectors can be used in both home or office settings, boasting a dedicated film mode, increased brightness, and Windows Vista certification.
The SP-A400B boasts BrilliantColor that helps to increase brightness by 50 per cent. It is Windows Vista certified, and comes with HDMI, component, S-video, composite, PC (D-sub 15 pin), and RS-232C inputs for connecting to a variety of multimedia devices. It will be available for an MSRP of $1,499.
The 1080p SP-A800B ($9,999) is ideal for use in the home, boasting a film mode that permits 24 frames-per-second playback, DLP technology, and 10,000:1 contrast. The low-noise of 24 dB also makes it ideal for either home or office use.
Claiming to offer the lowest noise output of any business projector on the market with Windows Vista certification, however, is the SP-D300B. Available for $1,299, it includes HDMI, PC, composite, and component inputs; and supplies 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness.
