SURREY, B.C. — Before the CFL season, you would have been pressed hard to find someone saying Charles Roberts, a future Hall of Fame running back, would crack 10,000 yards rushing with a team other than the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Of course, before the CFL season, you would have also been pressed hard to find someone saying the B.C. Lions would face a "must-win" game six weeks before November.
But both those improbable scenarios are at hand tonight when the Lions face the Saskatchewan Roughriders in an important West Division game in Vancouver. In short, if B.C. loses tonight, its string of four consecutive first-place finishes would be snapped.
